A sensor is an object whose purpose is to detect events or changes in its environment, and then provide a corresponding output (Wikipedia)

A fingerprint lock is used everywhere; Almost all smartphones have fingerprint locks. When making an ID card or openning an account, you need your fingerprints from time to time. By utilizing biometrics, The sensor is able to detect, save, and verify fingerprints. These modules are typically used in safes when verification is required.

In addition, this sensor is able to connect to LCD display or the computer screen, which shows more intuitive status.
